The questions we hear most
How long until we have live software?
Two weeks from first conversation is a normal target. We do not run six-month transformation programmes. The first version is in your workshop, on your data, working — then we improve from there.
Will it integrate with our payroll system?
Yes. Manufacturing Timeclock exports clean payroll runs that sync into Xero, MYOB, iPayroll, Smartly, Datacom Pay and most other NZ providers. If your provider is not on the list, we will build the integration.
Will it replace our ERP or job-card system?
Usually not. Most clients keep their existing ERP and we sit alongside it — capturing time, costs and floor activity in real time and feeding the ERP cleaner data than it has ever had.
What happens if the workshop loses internet?
Clock-in and time capture run locally on the device. When the network comes back, everything syncs. The floor displays show the last known state and update automatically once the connection returns.
Do we need new hardware?
We partner with SHARP for the in-workshop displays and recommend their kit for new sites. If you already have screens, tablets or kiosks we will work with what you have.
